EX CATHEDRA | Hilary and Themba shortlisted for the RPS Inspiration Awards - vote now!

We’re thrilled to learn that two Ex Cathedrans have been shortlisted for the Royal Philharmonic Society Inspiration Award – a new category this year. Huge congratulations to Hilary Campbell and Themba Mvula.

They need your vote, as this is a category won by public vote, so please vote and support them – vote online here.

Themba has sung with us over many years, including recently taking the role of Jesus for our 2021 Bach St John Passion online concert, and has been a member of our vocal tutor team, including a period as conductor of our Academy of Vocal Music lower voices choir. He has been nominated for his work as director of Lichfield Gospel Choir.

Hilary is one of our Associate Conductors, with her term ending last summer, having been extended during the pandemic. She has been nominated for her work as director of Bristol Choral Society.

We’d also like to offer Hilary our congratulations for winning ‘Best Vocal Group Music Director’ in the Making Music Awards earlier this week, for her work with Bristol Choral Society and Chiswick Choir.
