Step out of the winter rush and into the still, warm glow of candlelight. In Jeffrey Skidmore’s final season, expect beautiful seasonal music, a sprinkling of favourite carols, and readings to make you smile and reflect - all revealing the quiet magic of Christmas.

Getting there
The Great Hall is located on the University of Birmingham campus in south Birmingham, near the clock tower. You can park in the North East Multi-storey Car Park (Pritchatts Road, B15 2SA), and the campus is well served by trains that stop at University Station and by a number of bus routes.

Everyone is welcome at Ex Cathedra’s concerts, and we are committed to doing all we can to ensure you have a great experience.

This concert is not amplified. Readings will be amplified, using a hearing loop wherever available.
Each half of this concert will be performed as an uninterrupted sequence and the atmosphere will be quiet and still for extended periods. Audiences usually reserve applause for the end of each half.
