Our 2017-18 Scholars & Student Scholars
2017-18 was the first year of our choral Scholars and Student Scholars programme. We were delighted to spend the year working with the Scholars and Student Scholars listed below and we look forward to following their careers over the coming years:
Felicity Rogers, soprano. A graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire, and formerly a founder girl chorister at Worcester Cathedral, Felicity is also a choral scholar at St Chad’s Cathedral, Birmingham, and Librarian and Voice Coach to the choristers at St Philip’s Cathedral, Birmingham.
Sacha Fullerton, mezzo-soprano. Having studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with Lorna Anderson, Sacha is also a Lay Clerk at Gloucester Cathedral.
Sidharth Imanol, tenor. A former Westminster Cathedral Choir chorister and Organ scholar of Christ’s college Cambridge 2013-17, Sidharth has sung with the Rodolfus Choir, the Chapel of the Old Royal Naval College, St Gabriel’s Church in Pimlico and was a member of the Genesis Sixteen scheme 2016-17.
Andrew Randall, bass. A graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire, Andrew is a former Lay Clerk at St Philip’s Cathedral, Birmingham, and is now a Lay Clerk at Worcester Cathedral.
Student Scholarships in 2017-18 were awarded to Lily Allen-Dodd and Ali Donaghue, who will benefit from the scheme whilst continuing their studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
