Ex Cathedra’s vibrant vocal tutor team are returning to work with local Dads, Brothers, Uncles and Granddads in Sutton Coldfield, as part of its most recent Arts Champions community project Dads and Lads.

On Sunday 31st October 2010 men of all ages from the 4 wards of the Sutton Coldfield constituency will join together for a fun day of singing popular repertoire, with a focus on developing music-making skills and interaction within the male family relationship. We will be working towards an Arts Champions showcase event in Birmingham Town Hall the following weekend. The Dads and Lads will be performing alongside KS2 children from our acclaimed Singing Playgrounds®project, one of our first Arts Champions projects in the area.

The project is funded by Birmingham City Council and Sutton Coldfield Municipal Charities, and supported by the neighbourhood office at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall.
