Duruflé Requiem
International Dance Festival Birmingham 2014 presents the world premiere of a unique collaboration from Ex Cathedra, Québécois dance company Cas Public, and a cast of UK performers.
Featuring works for choir, organ and cello, the evening culminates in an evocative reimagining of Duruflé’s Requiem with a mix of ballet, Kathak and contemporary dance. Over fifty performers will unite to create an ethereal, haunting atmosphere, transforming Symphony Hall as never before.
