Summer Music by Candlelight - gala concert with guest musicians
We are thrilled to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Shropshire Music Trust with this very special gala concert. We will perform from our Summer Music by Candlelight programme, and are joined by two rising stars from Shropshire who have been invited by Shropshire Music Trust.
As daylight fades and candles glow in the twilight, we invite you to unwind and enjoy an evening of enchanting music and readings. Expect choral classics, a sprinkle of surprises, and some fun as we journey from the promise of a new dawn to the serenity of sunset.
Either side of the intervial, violinist Una Pavlovic Aldridge and pianist and composer Edward Harris Brown will perform movements 3&4 of Cesar Frank's Sonata for violin and piano, and the world premiere of a single movement sonata for violin and piano composed by Edward himself.
