Singing Workshop: Summer Music online

Booking closes at 10am (BST) on Friday 5 June to allow us enough time to send you the music, audio files and meeting link.

EX CATHEDRA
Jeffrey Skidmore conductor
Hilary Campbell associate conductor

We invite you to join an online choral workshop, and enjoy singing alongside members of Ex Cathedra to learn some of the summer music we had planned to perform in our Summer Music by Candlelight concerts - favourites like Summer Holiday, Sumer is icumen in and more.

The workshop will be suitable - and fun - for people of all musical experience. If you don't read music, you will be able to learn the pieces from the audio files we will send you. Experienced choral singers can choose to sing your voice part alongside the members of Ex Cathedra. During the workshop we will break into separate 'rooms' where you will work on your part with one of our professional singers and regular soloists.

Friday 5 June, 7-9pm.

How to book

Booking for this has now closed to allow us enough time to send all the information needed to all bookers before the workshop this evening.

If you have booked you'll have received a booking confirmation. You should also have received the meeting link, music and video click tracks from us by email. If you have not received these emails please check your junk folders first, and then email us.

Contribute to our virtual choir film

After the workshop you will be invited to record yourself on your mobile phone and send us a video to be included in our next virtual choir film, to be released in June - full details still to be announced. This is optional, we'll explain how to do it and hope to receive as many video contributions as possible.

Send a favourite holiday photo to include

Whether you have attended the workshop or not we'd love you to send a favourite holiday photo for us to try and include in the films we are making. Find out how here.
