The exuberance and joy of the opening chorus – underscored with pulsating energy from the trumpets, drums and richly scored orchestra – instantly set the tone for Bach’s thrilling masterpiece, the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.
We will perform all six cantatas and the concert will end at approximately 7pm.
