Personal Details
From time to time you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (such as your name, address, email address etc) in order to use the services provided on our website. Such services include brochure requests, email newsletter requests, feedback, contacting us and booking tickets via third-party box offices.

By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable Ex Cathedra to provide you with the services you select. Whenever you provide such personal information, we will treat that information in accordance with this policy. Ex Cathedra will act in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and related privacy legislation and will aim to meet current Internet best practice.

If you supply Ex Cathedra with your email address via the ‘Subscribe to our monthly e-news’ box you are consenting that you are willing to receive future email newsletters from Ex Cathedra.

When booking tickets for our concerts via an Arts Council England funded National Portfolio Organisation/partner box office (principally the Town Hall Symphony Hall box office), you are giving your consent for your data to be shared with Ex Cathedra as well. The box office will make your record available to Ex Cathedra so we can improve our business knowledge of bookers and supporters through data analysis. However, we will only contact you in line with the contact permissions you give.

The personal information that you give us will never be supplied to anyone outside Ex Cathedra for contact purposes without first obtaining your consent, unless we are obliged or permitted by law to disclose it.

With agreement about data management protocols, we do make data available to agencies for analysis and research purposes (for instance, comparison sales trends over time, postcode mapping etc). This assists with reporting to funders and strategic planning, helping us to make better business decisions.

If you have agreed to receive communications from us, you always have an option to unsubscribe from all marketing emails via a link at the bottom of the email. You can also change any of your contact preferences at any time by contacting us on 0121 616 3410.
