J S Bach                         St Matthew Passion

Bach’s St Matthew Passion is more than one of the greatest of all sacred works; it’s a profound human drama, and a heartbreaking musical exploration of timeless hopes and sorrows. This Good Friday performance, using soloists drawn from within the musical  community of Ex Cathedra, will have a special intimacy, immediacy and power.

There will be an extended interval and the performance will end at approximately 6pm.
