Ex Cathedra Consort
Jeffrey Skidmore

On the opening night of our Week 1 residency at Dartington International Summer School, the ten singers of our Consort perform music of discovery and religious experience. Ranging from England, France, Holland and Spain, to Mexico and Bolivia – including the world of the Aztecs and Incas – the programme includes William Byrd’s exquisite Mass for Four Voices and the lilting syncopation of Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla’s Missa ego flos campi.
